Cobalt Cove

This was an unsuccessful stay!!!! Positive: Location Negative: Mold and moisture present.Floors kitchen area not clean mildew in washer area in bedroom room not a suitable place to store washer and dryer!No towels or wash cloths had to purchase them.

You get what you paid for. Positive: Keurig cups, Brita water pitcher in the refrigerator, spacious, nice TV with a lot of choices, ice machine in the freezer, plenty of lighting and efficient heating. Entry into the apartment was easy with the code. Washer and dryer in the apartment. Negative: Building entry code did not work - had to call 2 times to get help. Concrete floors made the place seem bare, no tumbler type glasses, no hand soap for the bathroom sink. There was women's nightgown hanging in the bathroom from the previous tenant, no sheets other than the one over the mattress and no blanket other than the bedspread.

No sheets or comforter on the bed. The tv or tge remote did not work. Never got instructions to get into the building and room until i contacted VRBO.

Terrible conditions with leaking ceiling, bag of garbage under the sink, dirty towels on the floor. No mattress pad on the bed. Just a thin fitted sheet and a multiuse comforter. No flat sheet or blanket. Rollaway bed in room but zero extra sheets or blankets. With all this, no response from owner despite two voicemails and three emails throughout the day until the night we had left. And then the offer was to refund cleaning fee.

Great location! Peaceful and quiet. Near beautiful capital building and easy walk to nearby restaurants. Very short drive or longer walk to historic Des Moines. Property new, clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower. Nice kitchen. Although we didn’t cook there it appeared to have that one would need. Keurig coffee maker.Would definitely stay there again.
