Aqua Loft

Do not stay at Aqua Loft Positive: Nice kitchen (although there was only 1 glass and it was a wine glass)... and it had Wifi... a necessity these days.x The building is named Rowat Lofts, I have no idea where Aqua Loft comes from. Negative: The building is named Rowat Lofts, I have no idea where Aqua Loft comes from. It was dirty. The picture shown for Aqua Loft that I saw (but may have since been changed showing towels that were not there when I was there) is a deception. It looks nothing like the picture displayed on booking.com. The furniture looks like early garage sale. It's in the middle of a construction zone. Although the building has parking, it is not available to this particular apartment. Parking is a nightmare. I ended up parking a couple of blocks away, all the while, carrying heavy luggage... (the spot given to the unit is unavailable). Train tracks are directly in front of the apartment... and they are generously used. I love the rumble of trains, but there are those who do not, be advised trains passed the apartment several times in an evening.. The sheets are very old and the blanket (if you can call it a blanket), just barely covers the bed. It came with only 1 towel... no wash cloths... I had to go out and purchase a towel and washcloth. The bath Matt is front of the sink was perpetually wet. And as mentioned earlier, only one wine glass. None other, of any kind, to be found. No dresser of any kind but enough closet space for a family. In addition, no rugs of any kind to soften walking on cold vinyl. But to me, looking at the plastic clover hanging on the walls, was the oddest thing of all. I was never so glad to go home as when I left Rowat Lofts. I will never stay there again.

On the positive side, the host did a great job of communicating quickly and trying to accommodate our requests. The apartment and location in and of themselves are great! However, the quality of the accommodations was subpar. Sheets and bathroom were dirty. The bedding consisted of a flimsy fitted sheet (no mattress pad) and a thin duvet that didn't appear to be laundered. Towels and washcloths were tattered and stained. When new bedding was requested, we received a king fitted sheet (that barely stayed on) and a twin top sheet for the king sized bed. A key fob for accessing the gym and other amenities was not available. Parking was also difficult. Needless to say, we did not stay for a second night.
