Greywood Retreat

A clean new modern industrial apartment with no style or cozy vibes. Positive: The place was spacious and clean. It looked to be fairly new - maybe less than a few years old. Very modern and industrial. Appreciated the coffee pods left for us (no cream, sugar or sweetener) Negative: No hand towels or no washcloths. Had to purchase washcloths at a local Target. No hangers for clothing although there were huge closets. No hooks for hanging bath towel (or non existent hand towels) in the 2nd bedroom bath - counter was 5 feet away. Only one small pillow per bed. No flat sheet on beds, only fitted sheet with a thin duvet/comforter. Had a balcony, but no chair. I used a chair from the dinette and I can't remember if I brought it back in. (Sorry about that). No decor at all - no rugs or wall hanging. That would be fine, but it was very acoustic and loud. Every little noise echoed and reverberated. Caused a nasty headache. This place would and could be awesome if the little extras were added - hand towels, kitchen towels, wash cloths, an area rug and a few pictures or faux plants, maybe an acoustic panel or two to elevate the echo.

Just what we needed for a short stay. Positive: It was just what we needed for a one night stay. All surrounding hotels were booked. This was perfect for our group of 5 adults. Negative: It was clean but I'm sensitive to strong fragrances. We had to leave the patio door open to air out while getting ready. Also there were plenty of bath towels but no wash cloths, hand towels or paper towels.
